Friday, September 23

All Day

"Explore Brownsville" Photo Contest

Get here early and visit Brownsville on your own, document it with a picture post to Instagram using our hastag (#TTHD16) for a chance to win cash ....

Pick up your "Explore Brownsville" Passport at the Delta Heritage Center and when you visit select locations around Brownsville, snap a picture and post to Instagram for a chance to win some cold hard CA$H. Contest begins at 1 p.m., Friday and concludes at 5 p.m., Saturday evening. You must be present at the concert to win.

Fan Gathering

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. Pre-register to receive a TTHD goodie bag at check-in.

Tina Art Unveiling

Through the generosity of artist who also love Tina, we are bulding a permanent collection of Tina Fan Art. We will unveil and celebrate the first artists to participate with a special unveiling at 6 pm.

NOTE: Artists who are bringing their art with them to, will be able to present it at this time. Please contact Sonia (soutlawclark@gmail.com) if you plan to bring artwork with you.

Karaoke

Then it's your turn to give us your best Tina impersonation with Tina Karaoke. There will also be trivia and fun activities to test your Tina knowledge.

TinaFAM Dance Off

Bring your best Tina Moves for the
1st Annual TinaFAM Dance - OFF

Throughout the evening you are invited to show us your best Tina moves. At the end of the evening, the top performers will Dance-Off to see who will win the trophy and bragging rights.


Did we mention GIVEAWAYS and other fun stuff, too.

Concessions will be on site and restaurants are nearby for dining options. Come prepared to meet and mingle and get to know each other ... but mostly to have fun celebrating the "Queen of Rock 'n Roll."

6:30 am - 1 pm

Old Family Stew Cook-Off

Teams compete to see who will win the title of "Stewmaster" in the tradition of making Brunswick Stew. Tasting begins at 11:30 a.m., Winners announced at 1 p.m. The stew will be sold to benefit the charity of each teams choice.

8 am - 12 pm

Tour #1: Nutbush to Ripley

See where the "Queen" grew up and learn about this rural farming community. This tour will travel to Ripley where you will see a former home site, high school and "The Hole." Then return to Nutbush for a stop at the Springhill church, have your picture made under the Tina sign at the old Nutbush store, visit the former sites of the Flagg Grove School and home she lived in while attending Flagg Grove. Then tour Woodlawn Church and the cemetery where many relatives are buried. Plus other site along the way.

Cost: $10 per person

9:30 am - 12 pm

Tour #2: Nutbush

See where the "Queen" grew up and learn about this rural farming community. The guided tour will include original location of Flagg Grove School, Woodlawn Church, former sites of homes Tina lived in, getting your picture made under the Nutbush Store sign and more.

1:30 pm

Flagg Grove School Historical Marker Dedication

Join us as we dedicate a historical marker commemorating the legacy of Flagg Grove School builder Benjamin Flagg and early education for African Americans in Haywood County.


2 pm

Meet Robbie Montgomery ...
aka Sweetie Pie

Meet Robbie Montgomery (original Ikette and owner of Sweetie Pies restaurants). Ms. Robbie will discuss and sign copies of her cookbook. Cookbooks are available for $30 or you may bring your own.


7 p.m.

Tina Tribute Concert

At Carver Gym
(Tina's former high school)

It's going to be a fun night ... bring your dancing shoes.

Farewell Breakfast

A chance for fans to say goodbye and farewell until next year, when we hope you'll come back and do it all over again.

Pastries, juice and coffee for all.

Morning Worship at Woodlawn M.B. Church

Those who can hang around a little longer are invited to attend morning worship at Woodlawn.

Meet at Delta Heritage Center at 8:30 am, to carpool or caravan, for 9:20 am service
