NUTBUSH TOURS – Walk in Tina’s Footsteps
10 am & 2 pm

Step into the world that shaped the Queen of Rock! This guided adventure takes you through Brownsville, Nutbush, and nearby landmarks including the former site of Flagg Grove School and Ripley’s famous “The Hole.” You’ll see where Tina Turner’s story began and discover the soulful charm of her small farming community.

If this is your first time here, don’t miss this fun step back in time shared with fellow fans.

Our 2 PM tour gets you back to Brownsville in time to freshen up and join the Friday night fan gathering.

HOMECOMING PARADE

If you’ve never experienced a small-town Homecoming Parade - this is your chance. The entire town turns purple and white every year at Homecoming in preparation for the annual Tomcats parade down Main Street. You can even find Tomcats-themed gifts and milkshakes in shops around the square. Arrive early to find a parking or standing space to experience this annual tradition.

Tonight, We Celebrate Tina!
Get ready for a night full of music, memories, and pure Tina energy! We’ll swap stories, honor her incredible impact, and make new friends who love her just as much as you do. Feast from the on-site food truck (here all weekend!) and enjoy an evening packed with fresh Tina art, special recognitions, and our very own Tinaoke—karaoke with a Queen of Rock twist.

Your host, Jeff Love, will test your knowledge in Tina trivia (score giveaways) and keep the good vibes rolling. Dress in your best Tina shirt or go all-out in a Tina-inspired outfit for your shot at a special grand prize.

Because tonight, the spotlight is on you and Tina.

A Moment in History
Be part of history as Brownsville proudly unveils its bigger-than-life bronze statue of Tina Turner, created by renowned artist Fred Ajanogha. Standing as the crown jewel of Heritage Park, this stunning tribute rises across the street from historic Carver High School—where Tina once studied, played basketball, and led cheers.

Join us at 10 AM for the unveiling ceremony, hear the artist share his inspiration, and witness the moment our Queen of Rock takes her place in bronze for generations to come.

Worship at Woodlawn MBC

8 AM

Join the Woodlawn family for Sunday services live streamed or in person from Tina’s home church, Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church.

In person Sunday services now begin at 8 am, so get up early for this authentic Southern experience.

While you’re there, be sure to talk with “Ms. Robbie.” She and Tina attended this church together and Ms. Robbie has stories to tell about singing together at Woodlawn.

Breakfast & Goodbyes
